Everything you need to know about using our Learning Management System

1. Getting Started

Follow these simple steps to access your LMS account:

Step 1: Access the Login Page

Visit the LMS login page by clicking the "LMS Login" button in the navigation bar or by going to:

lms.student.stellarcode.digital/key=sumaga

Step 2: Enter Your Credentials

  • Username: Your student ID or registered email
  • Password: The password provided by the institute

Step 3: First-Time Login

On your first login, you will be prompted to change your password. Choose a strong password and keep it secure.

2. Accessing Course Materials

📚 Lecture Notes & Resources

Navigate to "My Courses" and select your subject. All lecture notes, PDFs, and study materials will be available in the "Resources" section.

Video Lectures

Recorded video lectures can be found in the "Video Library" section of each course. You can watch them at your own pace.

Downloading Materials

Click the download icon next to any file to save it to your device for offline access.

3. Submitting Assignments & Homework

Step 1: Find Your Assignment

Go to the "Assignments" tab in your course. You'll see a list of all current and upcoming assignments.

Step 2: Upload Your Work

  • Click on the assignment title
  • Click "Add Submission"
  • Upload your file (PDF, Word, or images)
  • Click "Submit Assignment"

Step 3: Confirmation

You'll receive a confirmation message once your assignment is successfully submitted. You can also check your submission status anytime.

⚠️ Important Tips:

  • • Always check the deadline before submitting
  • • Accepted file formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, PNG
  • • Maximum file size: 10MB
  • • Submit before the deadline to avoid late penalties

4. Viewing Grades & Progress

📊 Grade Book

Access your grades by clicking on "Grades" in the main menu or within each course.

  • View individual assignment grades
  • See your overall course grade
  • Track your progress over time
  • Read teacher feedback on your work

📈 Progress Reports

Monthly progress reports are automatically generated and available in your dashboard.

5. Communication Features

💬 Messaging Teachers

Use the built-in messaging system to communicate with your teachers for questions or clarifications.

👥 Discussion Forums

Participate in course discussion forums to collaborate with classmates and share knowledge.

Notifications

Enable notifications to receive alerts about new assignments, grades, and announcements.

6. Troubleshooting & Support

🔐 Forgot Password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions to reset your password via email.

❌ Cannot Login?

  • Check that you're using the correct student ID or email
  • Ensure Caps Lock is off
  • Try clearing your browser cache
  • Contact IT support if issues persist

📁 File Upload Issues?

  • Check file size (max 10MB)
  • Ensure file format is supported
  • Try a different browser
  • Check your internet connection
